{"id":59,"date":"2009-10-22T09:41:26","date_gmt":"2009-10-22T13:41:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/blog\/?p=59"},"modified":"2009-10-22T09:41:26","modified_gmt":"2009-10-22T13:41:26","slug":"estimated-clicks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/blog\/estimated-clicks\/59\/","title":{"rendered":"Estimated Clicks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new feature on SheerSEO I just launched today is the estimated clicks per search term.<br \/>\nHere is a snapshot from our own site&#8217;s data (you can see the full results in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/seo\/template.jsp?page=demo.jsp&#038;demoUser=sheerseo\">online software demo<\/a>):<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/estimatedClicks.gif\" alt=\"Estimated clicks\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can see in the snapshot that there is a new column called &#8220;Estimated Clicks&#8221;. It shows the estimated clicks you&#8217;ll get each month from search engines. The feature is only available in the advanced and professional packages, because it requires the search volume data. <\/p>\n<p>If you are interested to know how we do this, we base the results on the search volume data, the ranking, and the data, leaked by AOL, that lists the click through rate per each ranking. Here are the click-through rates:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/blog\/images\/top-10-serp-clickthrough1.png\" alt=\"top 10 SERPs click through by AOL\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After first page (top 10 rankings), traffic is getting worst very rapidly:<br \/>\n:<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sheerseo.com\/blog\/images\/page-1-4-clickthrough1.png\" alt=\"lower pages SERPs click through by AOL\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Of Course, this is not the real traffic but only an estimation. To get the real data you should use applications like Google Analytics.
